After years of searching for a sight system to provide an optimal balance between speed and accuracy, I finally decided to design and create my own. In 2012, I released the Combat Precision Technologies ECS rear sight for the 1911 pistol, and now this system is available for the Glock platform.
The Enhanced Combat Sights come standard with a .140" square notch rear and a .110" wide fiber optic front. I find this pairing to be the perfect balance of speed and accuracy. The rear square notch allows the greatest amount of target verification and the thinner front blade enables excellent target acquisition at further distances.
For individuals desiring more precision at distance, a .125 square notch rear sight will be available soon.
Sights are made in the U.S.A out of 4140 Chromoly Steel and finished in a Black Nitride (Melonite™) finish.
Combat Precision ECS™ sights are compatible with all Glock model pistols except: MOS slide variants.
I have run these on most all Glock models and have found that I am within 1 to 1 1/2" of my point of aim at 25yards. There are many variables that come into play with determining the point of aim and point of impact for shooters. If you are looking for a precise point of aim to point of impact based on your shooting style, pistol, and ammo, I would recommend getting just the Enhanced Combat Rear Sight only.
